Graduated as Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of Sofia. Holds a Master in History, specialty Thracology from the Sofia University. Entrepreneur and investor in the field of Real Estate, Agribusiness and projects in the field of health and medicine.

Ludmila Filipova

Astrophysicist and writer; MA from the Economic University, Sofia; MBA in Management from the City University, Seattle; graduated Creative writing program at Oxford University; Master (MS) in Astrophysics with high honors in the Physical faculty of Sofia University “Climent Ofridski”. Participated in 3 scientific expeditions to Antarctica, member of the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute and APECS.

The core of our team is The Bulgarian INSTITUTE OF CRYOBIOLOGY AND FOOD TECHNOLOGY, which is a pioneer in biotechnologies for the development and production of space food, and the DEPARTMENT OF CRYOBIOLOGY AND LYOPHILIZATION’s LABORATORY FOR SPECIALIZED FOODS, which made Bulgaria the third country in the world, alongside Russia and the USA, to produce space foods. Nowadays, they are part of the ANTARTA’S brand Bulgarian Space Food.

Our history

Our scientific team, alongside our technology and specialized production equipment, is a leader in biotechnologies and space food research and development, offering an extended menu of dishes known as the Bulgarian Space Menu ( Bulgarian Space Menu ). The BSM was initially developed for the first Bulgarian-Soviet space missions – a venture in space cooperation, known as the “Shipka” Project, that started 45 years ago. After that, Bulgaria become the third country in the world, alongside Russia and the USA, to produce space foods. Ever since, the BSM has been used for decades in different space missions, and it is considered to be one of the best in the world, tried-and-true over the years. Nowadays, the ANTARTA’S brand Bulgarian Space Menu (BSM) and Food contains one of the largest assortments of space food, drinks, and supplement products in the world space industry. It is used and already well proven in high altitude, underground, and polar expeditions, as well as in climate disasters and other extreme situations.
